Vidya Balan and Illeana D'Cruz are all set to collaborate for a romantic drama film, Do Aur Do Pyaar. Today, on March 11, the makers shared a new poster from the film announcing the release date of the film. Dubbed as this summer's hottest romance, the new poster features the cast of the film along with the release date. Do Aur Do Pyaar is all set to hit the theatres on 19th April 2024.
Vidya Balan announces the release date
Sharing the poster on her Instagram account, Vidya Balan wrote: "Love may be unpredictable, but it’s utterly intoxicating!✨
#DoAurDoPyaar arriving in cinemas on 19th April."
The romantic drama also stars Pratik Gandhi and American actor Sendhil Ramamurthy and promises to be a rollercoaster ride of love, laughter, and modern relationships.
With the unusual pairing and the quirky posters, the film already has all our attention. It would be exciting to watch them come together and present something that's never seen before.
Earlier, while talking about the film on his Instagram, Sendhil posted a long note that read: "Alright guys, here's the motion poster for my next Hindi (Indian) film, #DoAurDoPyaar ("2+2 = Love"), releasing in cinemas worldwide on 29th March, 2024. my friend, @tanuj.garg produced this film. He sent me the script and I loved the character and idea of filming in India again for the 1st time since 2009. I have been a fan of Vidya Balan for a long time. She’s India’s Meryl Streep as far as I’m concerned. I can’t believe I got to work with her. It was an amazing experience. Working with Prathik and Ileana was the on top."
"My work visa was organised in record time (shout out to the Indian Consulate in NYC) and before I could blink, I was on a flight from New York to Mumbai. My first day of the shoot was for this poster. I had a blast doing it and it's going to show in the film. I hope you all check it out!," he further wrote.
The drama is directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, who makes her feature debut with this film. It is presented by Applause Entertainment. Do Aur Do Pyaar will hit theatres on April 19, 2024.
