The legacy of Doctor Who

Doctor Who plays a significant part in the British culture. It has a cult following all across the globe. The TV series has been around since 1963 and is about the adventures of the Time Lord called the Doctor.

The Doctors

13 Doctors have been a part of the series so far and two will be seen in the coming seasons. The 60th anniversary special will see David Tennant, the 14th Doctor. Along with that, Ncuti Gatwa will also be unveiled as the 15th Doctor.

Neil Patrick Harris addition to the cast

One can guess from the trailer itself that Neil Patrick Harris plays a major role on the TV show. He is the antagonist – the Toymaker – who runs the world. Meanwhile, Jemma Redgrave is seen in the role of Kate Lethbridge-Stewart once again.

Russell T Davies, who has helmed the show, promises the November to be filled with surprises for both fans and new viewers alike.

Where will Doctor Who stream?

While it is originally a part of BBC, Doctor Who will premiere exclusively on the channel for UK and Ireland in the month of November. There is no set date for it yet. Everybody else can catch the show on Disney+ online. Indians will be able to stream it on Disney+Hotstar but after some wait.

Only three episodes from the limited series will be out for viewing and streaming. This is only to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the iconic show.
