Dream Girl 2 box office collection day 8: Ayushmann Khurrana starrer witnesses the lowest earning day, mints over Rs 4 crore

Dream Girl 2 starring Ayushmann Khurrana has been showing upward trends till day 7. Meanwhile, now the Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial has witnessed the lowest earning day on its second Friday. However, the comedy-drama movie is still expected to have a better performance at the box office at least two days over the weekend.

BO collection on the second Friday

In the latest report by Sacnilk.com, Dream Girl 2 churned out Rs 4.70 crore on its second Friday. The box office collection of the first week is Rs 67.00 crore, while the total net earning of the film till now is over Rs 71 crore. In the beginning, while the Ayushmann film was seen far behind in the competition with Gadar 2, however, it seemed to be going at the box office, the way, OMG 2 went on its initial day. But now, Dream Girl 2 is out of the league of even Akshay Kumar starrer.

Day 1- Rs 10.69 Cr

Day 2 - Rs 14.02 Cr

Day 3 - Rs 16 Cr

Day 4 - Rs 5.42 Cr

Day 5 - Rs 5.87 Cr

Day 6 - Rs 7.5 Cr

Day 7 - Rs 8.00 Cr

Day 8 - Rs 4.70 Cr 

Total - Rs 71.70 Cr

Dream Girl 2 to face Jawan

On the other hand, less than a week has been left for Dream Girl 2 to churn out the box office collection as much as it can, because, Jawan is set to release on September 7 and is expected to unanimously rule over all the cinema theatres on India and a few outside. Directed by Atlee, the advance booking for the Shah Rukh Khan starrer has already started. It also stars Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles, along with Deepika Padukone in an extended cameo appearance.

Meanwhile, Dream Girl 2, which also stars Ananya Pandey Ananya Panday in lead roles alongside Ayushmann with Anu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav and Asrani in key roles among others, is out to watch in cinemas now. Post that, the comedy-drama film is expected to be out on ZEE5 to stream online in October, 2023.
