The show follows a love story that has been showcased in three different timelines. Sammit and Ira are the happily married couple, while the husband keeps his quirky past hidden under a facade of a perfect husband to his Inspector wife. Duranga also sees Ira investigating a few murder cases by the suspected accomplice of a psychopathic serial killer Bala, twenty years after his suicide.
Backed by Goldie Behl and Shradha Singh, the show is set to stream on ZEE5 soon.
Talking about the series, Behl shared in a recent statement that Duranga is an out-of-the-box content and a special subject because it explores the concept of marriage but through a unique twisted lens, something you have never seen before.
The producer further mentioned that Drashti Dhami and Gulshan Devaiah are an unusual pairing, however, they worked very well for the story.
"Their characters in the show come from very varied, distinct backgrounds and they both have divulged completely into it," he added.
The Pradeep Sarkar and Aijaz Khan directorial also has Rajesh Khattar, Divya Sheth, Zakir Hussain, Barkha Bisht, Abhijit Khandkekar and Hera Mishra in key roles.
