Dussehra is finally upon us, with the whole country celebrating the festivities in style. And of course, Bollywood was not far behind either, with the stars in high spirits and taking to social media to give fans a glimpse into their merriment.

Anupam Kher posted a snazzy Dussehra post, with a groovy song to accompany it. In the caption of the post, the actor spoke of how the festival was all about the triumph of good over evil and wished his followers on the occasion of the festival.

Dasvi stars Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur also extended their Dussehra wishes to fans. While Abhishek posted a delightful animated card, Nimrat’s wishes read “Happy Dussehra everyone…may we recognise, acknowledge and eradicate all evil within and without. Lots of love and happiness to all #HappyDussehra”.

But Bollywood seemed to have started celebrating with festivities way before Dussehra. Navratri was also celebrated with pomp and flair by celebrities, from groovy Garba dances to pujas. Urvashi Rautela, Abhishek Bannerjee and Rajkummar Rao extended warm wishes to fans on the occasion of the ninth day of festivities.

Some celebs combined work and play, promoting their films while they took part in the festivities. Huma Qureshi, who will soon be seen sharing the screen with Sonakshi Sinha in Satram Ramani’s directorial Double XL, turned heads with her delightful Garba skills, as she set the dance floor on fire in a pink ensemble. Tamannaah Bhatia, who was last seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Babli Bouncer, won hearts as she treated fans to a few delightful Garba steps while celebrating with the Babli Bouncer team.

Shilpa Shetty gave a heartwarming glimpse into the Kanchika Puja ritual at her house, where her little daughter was the star of the show.

Mouni Roy’s breathtaking Durga Puja post also included her Brahmastra team, with director Ayan Mukerji and Ranbir Kapoor looking as charming as ever.
