Makers of 'Edagaiye Apaghathakke Karana' released the first video glimpse of the film earlier today, to mark Diganth Manchale's 40th birthday. As the title suggests, the film is a quirky take on the plight of left-handers and follows one such southpaw who, apparently, finds himself in a bit of a mess. The same teaser also reveals that the film will be a February 2024 release.

With this, it would seem that Diganth Manchale will have two back-to-back releases in 2024. The first, of course, is 'Bachelor Party' wherein he is joined by Yogesh, Achyuth Kumar, Shine Shetty, Siri Ravikumar, Balaji Manohar and others on a fun-filled ride that, again, turns on its head. Written and directed by Abhijit Mahesh and produced by Rakshit Shetty's Paramvah Studios, 'Bachelor Party' is set to release in theatres on January 26th.

One now looks forward to seeing Diganth in action and kicking things off for Kannada Cinema in 2024 on a grand note. At the same time, his admirers would want to see him springing back into form, as it were, and get the due that he has always deserved. Of late, it could be said that the actor has flown mostly under the radar and even though he has attempted a few interesting roles in films like 'Katheyondu Shuruvagide', 'Thimayya & Thimayya' and others, not many of them have made strong impressions.

It also helps his cause the new lot of Kannada filmmakers are pitching exciting ideas to him and lending his "urban lad" image a new edge. Of course, Diganth has played varied kinds of roles over the years but it wouldn't be incorrect to say that he was boxed in as an actor meant for the feel-good brand of cinema. With 'Bachelor Party' and 'Edagaiye Apaghathakke Karana', even though there is a sense of familiarity about them, one nevertheless expects bona fide entertainers in the offing.

'Edagaiye Apaghathakke Karana' is written and directed by Samarth B Kadkol who has also produced the film along with Gurudatha Ganiga (under Hyphen Pictures and Gurudatha Ganiga Films). Dhanu Harsha, Nidhi Subbaiah, Radhika Narayan, Krishna Hebbale, Sourav Lokesh and Nirup Bhandari are also part of the cast.
