Emraan Hashmi opens up about Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3

Tiger 3, which stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi has been the talk of the town since its announcement. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the third instalment of the action-packed film franchise. 

The sequel to the highly successful and critically acclaimed film has been facing several delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdowns. There are speculations of the film getting further delayed due to the arrest of Aryan Khan. The film is part of the spy universe of YRF along with Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan and Hrithik Roshan and Tiger starrer War. 

In an interview with BollywoodLife, Emraan Hashmi mentioned the upcoming film Tiger 3. When quizzed about the action film, the actor told the portal that fans will have to be patient and wait a bit longer for the film. Emraan will be seen in the role of an antagonist in the Yash Raj film, helmed by Sameer Sharma. Salman will reprise his iconic character Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger in the movie, while Katrina comes back as the female lead.

Currently, the Chehre actor is busy promoting the film Dybbuk, which releases on Amazon Prime on October 29. He said he'll speak more about the action film Tiger 3 after Dybbuk releases. 

The cast has been shooting major action sequences for Tiger 3 in Turkey and Austria. The two previous instalments Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai were released in 2012 and 2017 respectively. As both of them bagged massive success in the box office, movie buffs are expecting the third one to be a hit too.
