As it turns out, the release of Pakistani megastars Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan’s it film The Legend of Maula Jatt India release may have to wait.
The film, which is said to be one of the highest budget movies to be ever made in Pakistani film history, has landed in trouble as an MNS leader on Friday named Ameya Khopkar has threatened that his party will not let this Pakistani film release in India, according to a news report by Hindustan Times.
The Legend of Maula Jatt is the remake of another Pakistani classic film titled Maula Jatt, and stars Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan in lead roles.
"There are plans to release Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's Pakistani film ' The Legend of Maula Jatt' in India. It is most infuriating that an Indian company is leading this plan. Following Raj Saheb's orders we will not let this film release anywhere in India," he tweeted.
"Fawad Khan's fans, traitors may very well go to Pakistan and watch the film," Khopkar, who is a film producer himself, said in another tweet.
The film is all about the rivalry between a rutal gang leader Noori Natt, and local hero Maula Jatt.
