It's been almost 3 decades, Feeder has been ruling music lovers' hearts since 1994. With 11 studio albums, 12 compilations, four EPs and 43 singles, while accumulating 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012, the rock band has won 2 Kerrang! Awards in 2001 and 2003.
Feeder is one of the top British bands that has continued to be successful for such a long time. Their Tallulah album made its big debut on the UK Albums Chart, grabbing the #4 position. The album also debuted at #1 on the UK Independent Albums Chart.
Now, Feeder has announced that they will be releasing a new album Black/Red next year. In addition to this surprise, they have also announced a UK tour.
Black/Red is the first double album of the rock band, which will be released on April 5, through Big Teeth Music. This completes the trilogy of Torpedo.
What did the lead vocalist say?
Grant Nicholas stated, “I really wanted the album to be split in two parts for the listener, CD1 and CD2, black and red rather than be one long player, almost like a musical production with an interval. Making it was a very creative time for me as a writer and a real labour of love. Making the Black/Red album for me personally was a musical pilgrimage and I feel the end result is undeniable Feeder."
Ahead of the album's release, the UK tour will kick start in Cambridge on March 2 and will end in London's Roundhouse on March 28, 2024. Tickets will go on sale from Friday, October 27, 2023.
The tracklist of Black/Red includes:
For Black:
1. Droids 2. ELF 3. Playing With Fire 4. Vultures 5. Sahara 6. Hey You 7. The Knock 8. Perfume 9. AI.m^n
For Red:
1. Sleeping Dogs Lie 2. Scream 3. Submarine 4. Lost In The Wilderness 5. Memory Loss 6. Unconditional 7. Here Comes The Hurricane 8. Soldiers 9. Ghosts On Parade
