Feluda’s Nayan Rahashya: The trailer shows Indraneil Sengupta back in business as the sleuth

Sandip Ray’s version of Feluda is all set to hit the theatre this summer with Jatayu and Topshe. With Indraneil Sengupta playing Satyajit Ray’s sleuth, Nayan Rahashya will delve into the life and inadvertent adventure of a young boy Jyotishka with the gifted power to read numbers. Like Hatyapuri, Abhijit Guha will be seen as Jatayu, while Ayush Das will play Topshe. The trailer of the film was dropped recently. 

Nayan Rahashya delves into the interaction between Jyotishka and Feluda who goes to watch a show by a magician, Sunil Tarafdar. The magician stunts everyone with his hypnotizing power. But there lies a bigger surprise. The magician presents Jyotishka – a young boy with super power – in front of the audience who can answer any question related to numbers. Even Feluda is impressed seeing the boy. 

Sandip Ray made a film based on this story which will be released on May 10. The trailer came out. Indraneil, Abhijit, and Ayush are back as Bengali’s most loved trio after Hatyapuri. Debnath Chatterjee also plays an important role. 

Last year, Sandip Ray fell ill while shooting the film in Chennai. A large part of the story takes place in South India. Hence the unit went to Chennai in September, after finishing shooting the part in Kolkata. Sandip caught a bout of viral fever which stopped the shooting for a few days. He recovered and finished the rest.

Now, the cine lovers are eagerly waiting to watch Feluda magic once again on the big screen. There is Feluda’s magajastro – his sharp intelligence, and the mystery of Jyotishka getting missing and the murder of Hingorani. These mysteries will now be visualized on the screen.
