Finally! Aditya Roy Kapur gears up for Anurag Basu's Metro... In Dino shoot, here's all you need to know

One of the most anticipated Bollywood films of the year is Metro... In Dino, directed by Anurag Basu. The film has intrigued audiences from the very beginning, owing to its star cast. Aditya Roy Kapur is among the several stars set to feature in this flick. As per the latest reports, the actor has not yet begun to shoot for the film and will probably start in the coming week. Yes, Aditya will begin filming Basu's directorial, following his notable appearances in Gumraah and The Night Manager last year.

A source told Pinkvilla that Anurag Basu's Metro... In Dino, starring Aditya Roy Kapur, is about to go into production. Next week, the actor will start the next schedule, and the locations of Mumbai and Delhi have also been announced as potential filming locations.

In addition to Aditya, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Neena Gupta also feature prominently in the sequel to Basu's 2007 movie. The makers are calling them heartwarming stories of contemporary couples.

Change in release date and production details

The producers recently disclosed the change in the release date, which was originally planned to coincide with Good Friday on March 29. Eventually, on September 13, 2024, the movie will hit theatres.

Anurag Basu Productions Pvt. Ltd. and T-Series' Bhushan Kumar are producing the highly anticipated film. Pritam, who has worked with Basu on numerous films including Ludo, Jagga Jasoos, Barfi, Life In A... Metro, and Gangster, composes the music.

Conversely, with the success of Ludo, Aditya Roy Kapur will team up with Anurag Basu. The Night Manager, his most recent series, was a critical and commercial success. Sandeep Modi developed The Night Manager, a criminal thriller adapted from a book by John Le Carre, currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
