Flask: Teaser of this Saiju Kurup-starrer alludes to a quirky cop stuck in chaos

The makers of upcoming Malayalam film, Flask, has dropped a teaser today (June 20). Though it does not reveal much about the plot, the clip shows a glimpse into the lead characters of this comedy drama.
Teaser of Saiju Kurup's Flask
The one-minute and nineteen-second video provides an insight into the life of PSO Jyothi Kumar, a good singer and trouble-making police officer. It also alludes to his new role as a security guard for a strict and intolerant judge. They do not seem to get along well. However, their lives become chaotic as a result of the two appearing to be kept captive by Maoists. Overall, the teaser suggests an amusing comedy drama. It looks like Balachandran Chullikkad is portraying the father of Jyothi Kumar.
Flask theatrical release update
According to insiders, the police drama, in which Saiju Kurup plays the protagonist, will be released on big screen in July. In June, the actor's another movie, Written & Directed by God, had a theatrical release. In the next few days, a trailer and a confirmed release date are anticipated.
Along with Aswathy Sreekanth and Balachandran Chullikkad, Suresh Krishna and Siddarth Bharathan also had important parts in this film. This film is being helmed by Rahul Riji Nair, who is well-known for his directorials such as Kho-Kho and Keedam. Jai Mahendran, his most recent web series, is available for viewing on OTTplay Premium and Sony LIV. Saiju had played the lead role in this web series, which also had Rahul playing a supporting part. Flask's screenplay was written by the director himself.
The filmmaker revealed the conclusion of the movie's production in February of this year by posting a picture of the main actors and crew on his Instagram. Christy Sebastian is the editor, and Jayakrishnan Vijayan has overseen the camera work. Flask's music was composed by Sidhartha Pradeep. Rahul Riji Nair, Lijo Joseph, and Rathish M M have bankrolled this comedy drama.
