Focus, starring Vijay Shankar, Ashu Reddy, aims for April release; Sekhar Kammula launches teaser

Actors Vijay Shankar and former Bigg Boss contestant Ashu Reddy are coming together for a crime thriller Focus directed by first-time filmmaker G Surya Teja. The murder mystery also features Suhasini Maniratnam, Bhanuchander, Jeeva, Sayaji Shinde, Bharath Reddy and Surya Bhagawan in key roles. The film is produced by Relax Movie Makers in association with Skyra Creations. The teaser of Focus, which has hogged the limelight for its posters, was unveiled by writer, director Sekhar Kammula recently.

"I'm quite happy to have the teaser of my launched by a revered filmmaker like Sekhar Kammula. He has always encouraged new talent in the industry and his support for the film means a lot to us. G Surya Teja, the director, has done everything in his capacity to cater the film to the sensibilities of all kinds of audiences. We're looking at a theatrical release soon and hope audiences appreciate our efforts," the male lead Vijay Shankar said.

"The teaser of my first film was unveiled by the same filmmaker whose work I've adored since childhood. What more could I've asked for? Focus is an intriguing suspense thriller and will have a unique flavour in comparison to other films in the genre. It's sure to provide viewers a unique experience. Sekhar Kammula expressed his happiness at releasing the teaser of Focus, praising the work of the team and wishing them the best ahead of its theatrical release.
