For the unversed, the movie is set to introduce found-footage style of narration for the first time in Malayalam cinema. The film stars Manju Warrier, Vishakh Nair, Gayathri Ashok and Nanjiamma among others. Director Saiju is also editing this film. Footage’s music will be scored by popular composer Sushin Shyam.
The Anandham star has a couple of projects in his pipeline. Apart from Footage, the actor will also be seen in Tamil-Malayalam bilingual survival thriller Exit, which is directed by debutant Shaheen. The film revolves around four young men who get stuck in a bungalow in a hilly village in the 90s. Vishak Nair plays the role of a man, with cannibalistic traits, chained in the abandoned bungalow for over 25 years for unspecified reasons.
The actor was last seen in A M Sidhique's campus drama LLB - Life Line of Bachelors, alongside Sreenath Bhasi and Aswath Lal in the lead.
