Actor Siri Ravikumar is back in familiar territory as she begins shooting for Abhijit Mahesh's Bachelor Party. As the title and the first look poster suggest, the film's frolicking comedy-drama about a bachelor party comprising three vibrant characters played by Rishab Shetty, Diganth Manchale, and Achyuth Kumar. Where does someone like Siri Ravikumar fit in this equation? The actress says aside from an interesting role, she is also enjoying the shoot in the merry company of the three funny men.

In a recent interview with a media outlet, Siri Ravikumar divulged that she plays Diganth Manchale's wife in the film and it's the stark contrast in their respective personalities that brings out the charm. She added that her character in Bachelor Party is snooty, 'prim and proper' while Diganth plays someone completely opposite to their traits and the humour, and drama, emerge from this equation.

For Siri, who is all of two-films-and-a-web-series old at the moment, Bachelor Party will be her first taste of a bona fide comedy and the actress is keenly looking forward to exploring the genre. "I was taken in by the title and the fact that it’s a comedy was the clincher," she said in the recent chat with the Times of India, adding that the rest of the principal cast came as an added bonus considering that each of the three male leads is known for an idiosyncratic style of comedy.

Achyuth Kumar, aside from his exploits as a dramatic performer, has shown time and again that his comic timing and wit are among the best in the business right now. Rishab Shetty, who has himself directed films like Kirik Party and starred in a number of comedies such as Bell Bottom and Harikathe Alla Girikathe, carries a certain rustic and unforced brand of humour while Diganth Manchale brings in the understated style to the dynamic.

On the other hand, Siri Ravikumar is striving hard to keep her filmography interesting and is trying her hand at varied genres. Aside from Bachelor Party, she will be seen in the role of an escort in Arvind Sastry's untitled film alongside Aravinnd Iyer and Gopalakrishna Deshpande while AbraCaDabra, another Paramvah Studios production, features her as part of an enterprising ensemble cast led by Anant Nag.
