NBC set to produce Jesse L. Martin-led series The Irrational

Jesse L. Martin, the actor from The Flash and Law & Order is set to star in a new series The Irrational. NBC ordered the series months after the pilot was ordered in February 2022. The show stars Martin as a widely renowned professor, Alec Baker, who serves as a behavioural scientist to solve high-stakes cases. His high-profile clients include people from the government, law enforcement, as well as major corporations.

Story of Things, the Tamil anthology series is set to debut soon

The Tamil anthology series Story of Things is set to premiere soon on January 6. According to the press release, the show explores the special relationships between humans which blurs the lines between real and surreal. The five-episode series stars an ensemble cast of Aditi Balan, Archana K, Bharath Niwas, Gautami Tadimalla, Linga, Ritika Singh, Roju, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj, Siddique KM, Vinoth Kishan, Anshita Anand. The show will premiere on January 6th on a popular OTT platform.

With several sequels finding success at the box office these days, more filmmakers are planning to release sequels to their blockbusters. South Indian films such as SS. Rajamouli's Baahubali 2, KGF2, Karthikeya 2 and HIT2 were huge successes and it seems like Pushpa 2, Indian 2, Vikram 2 and Ponniyin Selvan 2 are gonna follow the same path. And now the 2004 romantic drama 7/G Brundavan Colony I helmed by Selvaraghavan will get a sequel according to reports.

Anees Bazmee claims Kartik Aaryan is still a part of Hera Pheri 3

Earlier reports claimed Kartik Aaryan may not be a part of Firoz Nadiadwala's highly anticipated project Hera Pheri 3. There were also reports that Akshay Kumar might join the cast. However, director Anees Bazmee has rebuffed all those claims and also revealed that he hasn't officially joined the project yet.

The Hindi remake of The Transporter will star Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh

It seems like another Hollywood movie is getting a Hindi remake after Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha and Sushant Singh Rajput's Dil Bechara. The Hindi remake of The Transporter is at work and is set to star a stellar action cast comprising Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh. Director Ali Abbas Zafar is the one who bagged the rights for Jason Statham’s The Transporter. However, further details have not been revealed regarding the production of the film.

Gautham Menon joins the team of Vijay's Thalapathy 67

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s next project Thalapathy 67 will star Vijay in the lead role. No official announcements have been made regarding the female lead though numerous reports claim actress Trisha has been considered for the role. Apart from that, Lokesh Kanagaraj revealed on a popular online media platform that filmmaker Gautham Menon will be part of the project.
