Tayiana Masley plays a number of personalities in this science fiction series. It is a wonder she doesn't have an identity crisis of her own! Sarah is at the heart of this show as she assumes the identity of a woman, who eerily resembles her. Conspiracy and action abound with some wholesome content in this must-watch series.

Russian Doll - Netflix

In this Groundhog Day-esque series, Natasha Lyonne is the birthday girl at her “surprise party” but keeps living the same night in a strange loop as she dies consistently, at times in bizarre ways. 

Girl from Nowhere - Netflix

In this Thai show, Nanno is a mystical creature, resembling a teenager as she goes to a new school every episode, exposing ugly deeds of seemingly good people. Trigger warnings for some graphic content.

Black Mirror - Netflix

No list is complete without mentioning this anthological series, with each episode exploring a different concept related to the burgeoning technology and its consequences. Several of its episodes have won awards. What is crazier is, people watching it can see themselves reflected in it. 

Gods of Dharampuri - ZEE5

Simply put, this Telugu series is the origin story of a gangster and his family, spanning over 16 years from the 1960s-70s filled with violence and other ruthless acts.

November Story - Disney+ Hotstar

This Tamil series is really going to play games with the viewers’ minds as the daughter of a famous writer, who is suffering from Alzheimers, sets out to prove her father’s innocence when he is found at a crime scene with no memory leading up to it. 

Dark - Netflix

Convulated timelines merging with battling past and future selves, this German show is set in a small town where everyone knows everyone and is involved with each other in some capacity. It has set the bar quite high for other time twisted shows with supernatural elements.
