2022 was the year that many found love and instantly lost it. Some others were in love for years at an end but their relationship just didn’t go anywhere and ended in divorce or a breakup. As the year comes to an end, we recall what 2022 looked like for Bollywood celebrity couples.

Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani

Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani have been together since childhood. They were reported to be in a relationship since some time now. Photos of them from Maldives often went viral. Disha was a part of Tiger’s family and was close to his sister Krishna Shroff and mother Ayesha Shroff. She had also worked with Jackie Shroff in the 2021 release Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. Just when everything seemed fine between them, news of their breakup made the rounds.

Reportedly, Disha and Tiger were staying together. She asked him for commitment since some time. Since he was not ready to say yes to her, Disha found it better to walk out. Thus, Tiger and Disha stopped stepping out together. They never accepted or denied the news.

Tiger, however, did discreetly claim that he’s single currently and looking for a mate. He said the same during his coffee session on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 7. Guess we can just take that as a confirmation that Tiger and Disha might have gone their separate ways.

Sushmita Sen-Lalit Modi

Another love story that came to light this year was of Sushmita Sen and Lalit Modi. They made their relationship public in 2022 and as luck had it, even parted ways in the same year.

Sushmita was considered to be single for a long time after her breakup with previous boyfriend, Rohman Shawl. However, both Sushmita and Lalit revealed that they have been seeing each other and have marriage plans. He recalled the journey from Sushmita ignoring his calls and texts, to her dating him.

This happened in the beginning of the year. Within a few months, they removed the photos and Lalit changed his display picture on Instagram. This gave rise to speculations that the couple took to the splitsville.

Sohail Khan-Seema Sajdeh

2022 also welcomed one of the most expensive divorces in B-Town. Sohail Khan and Seema Sajdeh filed for divorce this year. They had been married for 24 years (the couple eloped and got married in 1998). However, the two accepted that they started living separately since some time now. They are co-parenting their children Nirvaan and Yohan.

Honey Singh-Shalini Tanwar

Renowned singer Honey Singh divorced his wife of 11 years – Shalini Tanwar – in 2022. It was an ugly divorce which was fought in court. She accused him of domestic violence. Currently, Honey is believed to have found a new girlfriend. Thus, there is little to no scope of reconciliation when it comes to this couple.

Arbaaz Khan-Giorgia Adriani

After divorcing ex-wife Malaika Arora, Arbaaz Khan had started dating Giorgia Adriani. Rumours have it that the couple also parted ways this year.
