When one talks about K-pop, various talents such as singing, rapping, and dancing often come to mind - with each member of a group possessing such talents. Yet, one aspect that captures the attention of fans at the very first glance is the visual appeal of the members.

Traditionally, in K-pop groups, there's an official visual member who typically embodies the conventional Korean beauty standards. However, these standards may not resonate with fans around the globe, especially after the boom of K-pop.

Despite this, with a multitude of idols debuting in the industry, choosing a visual favourite presents an enjoyable challenge. Setting aside conventional visuals, certain idols have captivated fans' attention, earning the title of "non-visual visuals" in K-pop. Let's see the Top 5 making the list.

Joy (Red Velvet)

Park Soo-young, also known by her stage name Joy, made her debut in August 2014. In 2017, she transitioned into acting and took on roles in various television dramas including 'The Liar and His Lover' (2017), 'Tempted' (2018), 'The One and Only' (2021), and 'Once Upon a Small Town' (2022), showcasing her versatility.

Jihyo (TWICE)

Park Ji-hyo, known as Jihyo, is the leader and vocalist of TWICE, which was formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015. Standing out for her exceptional talent, Jihyo became the second member to debut as a soloist on August 18, 2023. She unveiled her debut album titled 'Zone' and achieved a significant milestone when she clinched her 1st music show win for the track "Killin' Me Good" on August 25.

Rei, a multi-talented Japanese artist, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter under Starship Entertainment. She made her debut with the girl group IVE on December 1, 2021, and was unveiled as the 5th member of the group. Along with her idol life, Rei treats fans with her solo reality show titled "Following Rei," available on her YouTube channel.

Sunghoon (ENHYPEN)

Park Sung-hoon, known as Sunghoon, made his debut with ENHYPEN in November 2020 after emerging victorious on the survival show 'I-Land'. Prior to his idol training, Sunghoon was a figure skater and had competed from 2010 until early 2020. He had won silver medals at the 2013 novice competition and the 2014 junior competition of the South Korean Figure Skating Championships.

Kim Hong Joong serves as a rapper, songwriter, producer, and composer under KQ Entertainment. He made his debut on October 24, 2018, when he was made the leader and main rapper of the group ATEEZ. Before his debut, Hongjoong showcased his skills on the survival show "MIXNINE" where he ranked 42nd.
