When Gadang Rakkamma – The Queen of Good Times was released as a lyrical video, it had very fleeting visuals of the actual dance number. The team only showed us the hook step of the song, picturized on Bollywood siren Jacqueline Fernandez and Kiccha Sudeep as choreographed by Jani master. The song, written by director Anup Bhandari and composed by Ajaneesh B Loknath, was a runaway hit, with the hook step becoming one of the most popular properties for social media reels.

Later, when the trailer launch happened, a select gathering of guests and the media got to see the full song, in 3D that too, and we must say, it was quite impressive. Of course, Jacqueline who is quite the dancer does most of the heavy lifting in the song, a glimpse of which has now been released by the makers, in the run up to the film’s theatrical outing in two days. Much of the focus is on Jacqueline who impresses with her moves. The actress will only be seen in the song and one scene in the film and yet, since the start of promotions, has been more than game to be a part of a lot of events. She came to Bengaluru for the trailer launch, where she joined Sudeep to do the hook step at the mall that the event was held at, and was at every promotional outing in Mumbai too. Even yesterday, she shook a leg with Sudeep and Salman Khan at the pre-release event.

The promotions of Vikrant Rona draw to a close tonight with the pre-release event in Bengaluru. Sudeep will head to Dubai tomorrow for the Dubai premiere of the film. Vikrant Rona will have premieres in 27 countries, but back home in India, you will get to see it on July 28 only. Although the film has been converted to 3D, there are a fair share of 2D shows too.
