Gadar 2 box office collection Day 15: Sunny Deol starrer sees the lowest earning, mints over Rs 6 crore on third Friday

Gadar 2 is having an unexpected run in the theatres. Even after witnessing its lowest earning on day 15, the Sunny Deol starrer managed to churn out over Rs 6 crores on its third Friday, which is unusual for a Bollywood film and a record in itself. Meanwhile, after OMG 2, the Anil Sharma directorial is now competing with the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl 2 at the box office.

Gadar 2 competes with Dream Girl 2

According to the latest report on Sacnilk.com, Gadar 2 has managed to mint Rs 6.70 crore on its third Friday while competing with Dream Girl 2 on its opening day. This makes Rs 425.80 crore the net total BO collection of the period action drama film. Meanwhile, The Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial churned out over Rs 9 crore on day 1 at the box office, which is quite closer to OMG 2's opening day earnings but way too far from Gadar 2.

Even after two weeks of release, the fandom for Gadar 2 is moving forward day by day. Fans couldn't stop gushing about the actors' performances, the film's story, power-packed action as well as its humongous box office collection. By replying to Taran Adarsh's box office report on Twitter, one of the cinephiles shared, "Kitna competition jhele...OMG2, Jailer ab Dream Girl 2 and within a month Jawan. But still in the race to do 500 cr. INSANE. #Gadar2 is biggest blockbuster of the year (Sic)."

Gadar 2, which also has Ameesha Patel, Utkarsh Sharma, ‎Simrat Kaur and ‎Manish Wadhwa, is out in cinemas now. Meanwhile, post the theatrical run, the action-drama flick is set to be out on ZEE5.
