Beginning the conversation with reporters at the event, Anil Sharma thanked the press, cast and crew of the film for their continuous support and well wishes.
Then, Anil went ahead and recalled how Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava was recreated and brought to life in the film. Anil said to the reporters: “This is the first song to travel from films to folklore. When I was shooting for a project in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur, I heard someone playing this song. The person who was singing the song told me that the song is from the movie Gadar. Soon, I realized this song is being sung in various corners of the State.”
“Then, I met Udit ji and told him that he has created history. I appreciated his work. I also feel that this song has the power to connect with people beyond boundaries. When I was young, even I loved hearing songs by Udit ji. I feel that when a song is made with pure intentions, the output of the song is good. Even Mithoon da readily agreed that the song should be sung by Udit ji,” says Anil Sharma.
Interestingly, the latest version of Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava has received over 41 million views in just 6 days.
