Gam Gam Ganesha: Anand Deverakonda stars in an innovative video announcing a casting call

A few decades ago, Telugu cinema was in its own shell and there were many walls for a newcomer to make a mark in the industry. One can now safely say that the industry is moving towards a more democratic phase where producers and directors are quite accepting of new talents. Anand Deverakonda's next, Gam Gam Ganesha, which was formally launched recently, will also see a flurry of new-age talents.

The team of Gam Gam Ganesha today announced a casting call for aspiring actors, claiming to offer a golden chance to showcase their mettle in the film. The newcomers chosen for the roles will get to essay several supporting characters in Gam Gam Ganesha. The producers, HyLife Entertainment, have asked those interested to mail their profiles to Auditions.gamgamganesha@gmail.com 

Actors (male) between 25 and 55 are eligible to send their profiles, audition clips to the team before March 15. Meanwhile, there is a requirement for an actress (in the age group of 18-20) as well. The profiles of those interested can be shared via WhatsApp on 7893058310 as well. "Filtered photos and Tik Tok videos will not be accepted," the makers insist.

Besides a poster sharing these details, the team has come up with a video starring Anand Deverakonda where the actor is preparing his lines at an audition and the casting directors said that he could be 'pushed' do to any of the characters. "Why not that of the hero," asks Anand Deverakonda, confidently after which he informs the team to choose the supporting cast first and that he would join the set later.

Gam Gam Ganesha is a new-age action thriller starring Anand Deverakonda in the lead. Directed by Uday Shetty, the film is bankrolled by Kedar and Vamshi Karumanchi. The movie is expected to go on floors soon.
