Gandeevadhaari Arjuna: Teaser of Varun Tej, Praveen Sattaru’s action thriller to release next week

Varun Tej, last seen in F3 in 2022, recently got engaged to his lady love Lavanya Tripathi this June. On the professional front too, he has something interesting coming up in the form of Gandeevadhaari Arjuna. The film, to release on August 25, is an action thriller directed by award-winning filmmaker Praveen Sattaru and is produced by Bvsn Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.

Sakshi Vaidya, who forayed into Telugu cinema with Agent, plays the female lead in the much-awaited project. The film revolves around an officer in the backdrop of a UN summit on climate change. After impressing with the first glimpse, pre-teaser and several stills from the film, the makers shared an update surrounding its teaser launch. The teaser will be unveiled next Monday on July 24 at 10.08 am.

In the latest image from the film, Varun Tej looks dapper while wearing a blazer and holding a gun in an undisclosed location.

Mickey J Meyer, conventionally known for composing for dramas and rom-coms, is scoring the music for Gandeevadhaari Arjuna. Mukesh G is the cinematographer for the film while Dharmendra Kakarla is the editor and Avinash Kolla is the production designer respectively. Junglee has acquired the music rights with Netflix bagging the post-theatrical streaming rights.

Gandeevadhaari Arjuna’s filming was completed recently and the director has officially moved onto another project, Mission Tashafi, a ZEE5 web series starring Simran Chaudhary, Anish Kuruvilla and others. Varun Tej is playing a fighter pilot in VT13, his next after the action thriller, in which Manushi Chhillar has been cast as the female lead.
