Ganesh Chaturthi 2022: Rajeev Sen, Charu Asopa celebrate amid separation rumours

The rumours of them going their separate ways could very well be untrue. 

Yes, despite speculations of them spliting, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa have posted pictures from their Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations along with their daughter. 

On Wednesday, both of them took to their respective Instagram profiles and shared pictures of their family time together during Ganesh Chaturthi. 

"Happy Ganesh Chaturthi," Rajeev Sen wrote, with the hashtags #senfamily and #ganeshchaturthi added to the caption. 

Charu Asopa, too, too shared pictures from the family festivities, writing, "Happy Ganesh Chaturthi." 

For the unversed, Rajeev Sen and Charu Asopa tied the knot on June 7, 2019 in a civil ceremony, after briefly dating for four months, which was later followed by a grand wedding bash in Goa. That event was attended by friends and families of the couple. Last year, the couple had a daughter. 

reports of problems in their marriage first surfaced in 2020 when they unfollowed each other on social media and removed pictures of one another from their respective Instagram handles. However, according to a news report by NDTV Movies, they got together for a brief while last year.

This year, Charu Asopa opened up about ending their marriage in a blog post, writing, "I know people have a lot of questions about me, have doubts about me. Many are thinking I am wrong but I want to say that I am taking this decision after thinking about it for a long time. Mein kisi jaldbaazi mein ya emotional hoke yeh decision nahi le rahi hun apne poore hosh o awaz mein yeh faisla le rahi hun (I am not taking the decision in a hurry or emotionally. I am taking it consciously). It is not for me, it is for Ziana."
