Gangubai Kathiawadi: Ranveer Singh taps his feet on 'Dholida' alongside Alia Bhatt at an event

Alia Bhatt has been quite busy with the promotion of Gangubai Kathiawadi. The Bollywood Diva can be seen having fun at several events and giving out interviews as well. In one of the recent promotion events, Ranveer Singh joined the actress to support her.

In a recent video that is doing rounds on the internet, Ranveer can be seen being goofy and tapping his feet on the Garba song called Dholida from the film. Alia can be seen teaching the hook steps to the handsome hunk of Bollywood and in the end giving him a hug.

A few days ago, post the release of the peppy song, Alia shared it through her Instagram handle with an emotional note that says, "An absolute dream come true to dance on SANJAY LEELA BHANSALI’s music. My heart forever beats to #DHOLIDA Song out now! Link in bio Music by #SanjayLeelaBhansali Lyrics by @kumaarofficial #GangubaiKathiawadi in cinemas on 25th Feb (sic)."

The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial is a biographical drama movie that has been adapted from a part of the book titled Mafia Queens of Mumbai by S. Hussain Zaidi. Alia is portraying the titular character in the film. Sold to prostitution at a very young age, Gangubai emerges as a strong woman, who can be seen fighting for the equal rights of her people and to provide basic education to the children of her area. 

Apart from Alia, the highly-anticipated film ensembles a huge star cast including Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa playing pivotal characters alongside Indira Tiwari, Varun Kapoor, Shantanu Maheshwari in supporting roles. 

Gangubai Kathiawadi, which also has Ajay Devgn in an extended cameo role, is set to hit the theatres on February 25.
