Govinda announces Duniyadaari

Govinda has confirmed that he is making a comeback in acting with the movie Duniyadaari. While details of the movie are not yet revealed, it is believed that the same would be a Bollywood film. The actor posted a video on Instagram in which he is seen dancing. The caption to the video was, "Doing rehearsal for my forthcoming film Duniyadaari."

Govinda's wife on Avatar claims

While talking to The Traitors contestant Uorfi Javed, Govinda's wife Sunita wondered about his claims of being offered Avatar. "Arre yaar mujhe nahi pata kab offer hui. 40 saal toh mujhe hogaye Govinda ke saath. Avatar ka director, producer kab aaya mujhe nahi maalum," is what she said, adding that she cannot lie or stand with liars.

When Govinda claimed he was offered a role in Avatar

Years back, Govinda had claimed that he was offered a role in Avatar. The actor told Aap Ki Adalat that he had to decline the offer despite the good sum because he wouldn't wish to harm his body by painting it. While many wondered about the claims, Sunita's statement has further raised speculation of whether Govinda was actually offered the movie. Nonetheless, the 90s hero is making a comeback and his fans (including Sunita, who pushed him to pursue the profession again) are excited to see him on-screen. The movie is likely to release in theatres, since Sunita had revealed in a recent interview that Govinda is not open to exploring the world of OTT, at least anytime soon.
