Guntur Kaaram: Mahesh Babu’s new birthday poster has him donning a lungi and smoking a cigarette in style

After staying in the news for the wrong reasons in the recent weeks, Guntur Kaaram team is giving Mahesh Babu fans a genuine excuse to be happy about. Commemorating the Sarkaru Vaari Paata star’s birthday today, Haarika and Hassine Creations, the makers of director Trivikram’s next, have unveiled a new, stylish poster of the film, reiterating its release date - January 12, 2024.

In the new sepia-tinted poster, birthday boy Mahesh Babu donning a black shirt and a grey lungi, wearing shades, is stylishly smoking a cigarette in front of a house. ‘Happy Birthday Superstar,’ the team wished the star, captioning the film ‘Highly Inflammable.’ Sreeleela and Meenakshii Chaudhary are cast as the female leads in the action entertainer whose new schedule will commence this weekend.

Jayaram, Ramya Krishna play other key roles in the entertainer which has music by S Thaman. PS Vinod cranks the camera for the film while Navin Nooli is the editor. AS Prakash is the art director for the prestigious project. While there were reports that the release of Guntur Kaaram will be pushed beyond Sankranthi, the latest poster should silence the naysayers.

Guntur Kaaram is Mahesh Babu’s third film with Trivikram after two critically acclaimed, widely celebrated outings like Athadu and Khaleja. Mahesh Babu is currently holidaying in Scotland with his family and will resume shooting for the film soon. The makers of Guntur Kaaram have also confirmed a project with Allu Arjun, a pan-Indian film to be directed by Trivikram .
