Hrithik Roshan is celebrating his 49th birthday this year, and wishes have been pouring in for the star from across the globe. Several fans and celebrities have taken to their social media pages and shared heartfelt birthday messages for the actor. However, one of the most special wishes has been from Hrithik's ladylove, singer-actor Saba Azad. She took to her Instagram page and shared a series of sweet photos and videos of the actor to wish him a happy 49th birthday.

Saba wrote, "It’s Ro Day! Hey Ro!! As you glide through this circus we call life, forever wide-eyed and curious, constantly evolving, heart strong, mind sharp as a tack, endlessly resilient student of life, annoyingly stubborn to do and be better every day, staying kind and full of grace even when the world may not return the favour, one thing comes to mind: "exception to the rule." You defy all stereotypes and confuse all assumptions."

The Rocket Boys actor further stated, "People rarely surprise, but you continue to do so every day in so many ways. The world is bizarre, Ro, but you make it better by just being. So be it—for ever and ever, you talented beast, favourite goof, human bean, and strangest of all fruits. Happy whirl around the sun, you. Thank you for being born."

Meanwhile, talking about his birthday, Hrithik said in a statement, "I used to see it (his birthday) as a fun day, but then somewhere along the way it started becoming a chore, a duty, something we must celebrate and party about. Birthdays came with a slight sense of discomfort. But today, I see it as an opportunity to spend time doing things that would fulfil me. I may still do the exact same things, but now it’s out of my own desire and sense of fulfilment rather than a self-imposed mandate."
