Happy Friendship Day 2023: Vaani Kapoor speaks about her bond with Anushka Ranjan Kapoor

Even though friends and friendship does not require any particular day to be celebrated, today’s day and date has been dedicated to friends all over as ‘Friendship Day’. Over the years, we have seen extremely thick friendship and bonding in Bollywood amongst the actors. One such bonding exists between Vaani Kapoor and Anushka Ranjan Kapoor.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Vaani Kapoor spoke about her bonding with her BFF Anushka Ranjan Kapoor. The ‘Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui’ actress said that she was like siblings with Anushka (Ranjan Kapoor) and that she feels like that she is an adopted child of their family. Since Vaani Kapoor originally hails from Delhi and had come to Mumbai to become an actress, she said, “It’s good to have a family especially for someone like me who stays away from home”.

Recalling their first meeting, Vaani Kapoor said that they had met up at a common friend’s house where Anushka frequently used to go to see films and that, she did not know how they both bonded instantly and also made plans for jogging after having exchanged each other’s phone numbers. Anushka, on the other hand, went onto make a revelation that, even though they took time to know each other, but, the present-day status is that, their bond is for a lifetime. She also revealed that she has saved Vaani’s phone number on her mobile as ‘queen’ with a crown emoji.

When the BFFs were asked to reveal one thing that many were unaware of, Anushka said that Vaani had an extremely hilarious, silly and funny side to her that she wanted the world to see and that she was also goofy. She also spilled the beans about Vaani Kapoor being a full-on foody. Anushka said that, much to people’s perception about her, Vaani can have 10 lunches, 12 dinners and snacks in every 10 minutes! On the other hand, Vaani Kapoor said that, besides Anushka being an extremely entertaining person, she would also feed her with great food and healthy gossip.

Vaani Kapoor also spoke about how they both have deeper conversations about different facets of life, besides the funny and frivolous conversations that they have. She also added that, they never impose their opinion on each other and that they try to understand the other person’s perspective when they have different views on certain things and that the only time when she gets super competitive is when they are playing games.

While Anushka just could not thank Vaani Kapoor enough for being on her side throughout her wedding and for being there whenever she needed anything, Vaani, on the other hand, revealed that Anushka had video called her from Paris, the place where Aditya Seal had proposed to her. Amidst all this, the only Vaani Kapoor said that Anushka never became a bridezilla.
