Rishab Shetty's upcoming acting stint will be Harikathe Alla Girikathe and the film is all set to release in cinema halls on June 23. Billed as a bonafide comedy vehicle that also boasts of elements of crime and romance, Rishab is joined by an exciting ensemble cast comprising Rachana Inder, Thapaswini Poonacha, Pramod Shetty, and Rakshith Shetty (not to be confused with the 777 Charlie actor) with veteran actor Honnavalli Krishna playing himself in the film. The much-awaited trailer of Harikathe Alla Girikathe was released earlier today to a highly encouraging response by the digital audience and the film promises a rollicking ride at the movies from June 23 onwards.

Rishab Shetty plays Honnavalli Krishna's son in the film whose pursuits to become a filmmaker lead him to a rather sticky situation. With a set of interesting characters played by Rachana Inder, Rakshith Shetty, and others inadvertently joining him on this, things soon become more complicated and comical in equal measure. Pramod Shetty plays Inspector Abhimanyu who, through his own idiosyncratic methods, gets entangled in the sequence of bizarre events.

Harikathe Alla Girikathe features Vasuki Vaibhav's soundtrack and the team has already released two singles from the album, namely Jr. Monalisa and Bawarachi. The former comes with funky lyrics penned by Trilok Trivikram and Vasuki Vaibhav's amusing voice while the latter, a rather special number, has actor Sharan rendering it in his own inimitable voice. The team also plans on releasing The Journey Song before June 23.

The film features two directors in the form of Karan Ananth and Anirudh Mahesh with the latter penning the screenplay with Giri Krishna (story writer). Sandesh Nagaraj produces the film under his home banner of Sandesh Productions - Chandrashekaran and Ranganath C.M. are the cinematographers with Bharath M.C and Pradeep S. Rao editing the film.
