Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon will return in the second season of Apple TV+ The Morning Show, which is slated to release in September.

The teaser of the second season, which was released on Monday, focuses on the controversy at the end of season one when Alex Levy (Aniston) publicly left her show. It also features Hasan Minhaj as a news anchor, who will be joined by Bradley (Witherspoon) after she cuts ties with Alex. The new season seems to be filled with gossip and truth.

The first season, which opened to mixed reviews, scored high towards the end due to its controversial plot. Sharing the trailer of the second season on her Instagram page, Aniston wrote, “Took a little longer than expected but it’s finally here…first look at Season 2 of @TheMorningShow!”

Most of the cast from the first season will be returning for the second instalment, along with new additions, including Minhaj, Greta Lee, Julianna Margulies and Holland Taylor. The second season will release on Apple TV+ on September 17.
