Heard this? Disappointed with Bigg Boss 17 winner announcement, Ankita Lokhande refused media interviews

Bigg Boss 17 finalists have been going viral for their interviews with the media. From winner Munawar Faruqui to runner-ups Abhishek Kumar, Mannara Chopra and Arun Maseshetty, every person gave an interview to the press. The one person who outright refused to do so and left sets early was Ankita Lokhande. Through her actions, Ankita expressed her disappointment with the winner announcement. Beating Abhishek, Munawar lifted the trophy last night.

Ankita refused media interviews?

Ankita left Bigg Boss 17 sets instantly after the winner announcement. In fact the video of her expression on Munawar being declared the winner of the show has been going viral. In the clip, Ankita is seen rushing out with a straight face. She refused to give media interviews as well. Interestingly, she called Munawar her friend on the show.

Many shocked with Ankita’s eviction

Ankita did not even make it to top three. This left her and everybody close to her disappointed. Ankita’s husband Vicky Jain broke into tears. Samarth Jurel informed the media that he and Isha Malviya were shocked with the eviction news, and Ankita’s sister-in-law, who was in the car with Ankita’s mother-in-law, called it unfair that Munawar won the show when Ankita was deserving. It looks like Ankita too was heartbroken with the announcement and chose to walk away from the sets.

Finalists and the winning moment

Arun Maseshetty and Ankita Lokhande were the first to be out of the winner race, respectively. This left Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar and Munawar Faruqui in top three. Mannara got out of the race and after an emotional recall of their time in the house, Abhishek and Munawar stood on the stage with Salman Khan on each of his side. After playing with them a little, like every time, he announced that Munawar is the winner of the season. Apart from the trophy, Munawar took home Rs. 50 lakhs and Hyundai Creta. The show is Munawar’s second win after Kangana Ranaut-hosted Lock Upp.
