Green Day, who has recently celebrated 30th anniversary of their seminal 1994 album, announced a stadium tour with other 3 bands The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and The Linda Lindas. Yesterday while performing on their 'secret' show in Las Vegas, Green Day along with The Smashing Pumpkins, announced another surprise for their die-hard fans. They openly declared on the stage that they will be having a grand tour in 2024 along with The Smashing Pumpkins, Rancid and The Linda Lindas.

What did Billie say?

The lead vocalist Billie Joe Armstrong shared the news to the fans at Fremont Country Club, who had gathered for the 'secret' show since the morning. Although he did not mention the exact date, Billie shared that Green Day will be performing the grand show next year.

When was Green Day formed?

The American rock band was formed in 1986 by Billie along with bassist Mike Drint. Green Day rose to fame in 1994 with their Dookie album, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 Chart. Not only that, the band achieved their first Grammy for Dookie at the 47th Grammy Awards 2005, while making their debut.
