Here's when Allu Arjun will commence shooting for Pushpa 2

The shoot for the much-awaited sequel to Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rise is all set to begin in the middle of October. After the buzz that Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 mahurat announcement had created, fans were excited to know when the superstar will commence the shoot of the sequel, Pushpa 2. According to sources, the new look will also be revealed soon. “Allu Arjun will start shooting for Pushpa 2 in the mid of October and his new look will be out soon. The star has been taking classes and has been preparing for Pushpa 2”. 

The film created such a huge buzz that several songs, scenes and monologues began to trend on social media. Kids danced like there was no tomorrow to Pushpa’s chartbusters Saami Saami & Srivalli.  With excitement at its peak, the announcement for the sequel came like a bang. The film, written and directed by Sukumar has Allu Arjun in the titular character Pushpa Raj, a red sandalwood smuggler, which grows only in the Seshachalam hills of Andhra Pradesh. The original had an ensemble cast, including Rashmika Mandanna, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandhari, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Ajay and Ajay Ghosh in the lead. The film depicts the rise of a coolie to a dreaded sandalwood smuggler.

Pushpa: The Rise opened to positive reviews and was dubbed into Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi as well. The film emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema and went on to make Allu Arjun, a global star. Allu Arjun was even chosen as the Grand Marshall in the annual Indian day parade in New York. His character, Pushpa, also took over the Ganesh Chaturthi pandals across the country as Lord Ganesha idols resembling his character in Pushpa, adorned the pandals. With the announcement of Pushpa 2, excitement has once again soared among fans.
