Vicky Kaushal is now on vacation in New York with his actor-wife, Katrina Kaif, but business will soon beckon. Except for a dance routine, the actor has completed the filming of Govinda Naam Mera. He is likely to film the song whenever he returns to the bay, completing Shashank Khaitan's comedy, which also stars Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani.

According to reports in Mid Day, a big set is being erected for the song at Chitrakoot ground in Andheri. A source told the tabloid that except for Dhyaanchand in Manmarziyaan [2018], Vicky has had very little opportunity to show off his dancing abilities on screen.

As a result, he is looking forward to this song, which will have Desi beats. Shashank envisions it as a lighthearted, humorous offering that will be a highlight of the film. If all goes according to plan, Vicky will dance on June 3 after a few days of rehearsals.

Govinda Naam Mera is a lighthearted spin on a love triangle, with Pednekar portraying Kaushal's on-screen wife and Advani portraying his girlfriend. Last November, the Karan Johar production was announced.

The film was set for a June 10 release this year. However, the makers have postponed it and are yet to make an announcement of the new release date.

Meanwhile, Vicky has a few more films in his kitty, including Meghna Gulzar's Sam Bahadur, in which he plays the titular role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The first look and the announcement of the film have made fans impatient for its release.

On the other hand, the actor will also be seen in Laxman Utekar's untitled next opposite Sara Ali Khan. The actors extensively shot for the film in Madhya Pradesh earlier this year. The title and the release date are yet to be announced by the makers.
