Thanks to his supremely impressive filmography Nani is among the most sought-after actors in Telugu cinema today. And yet, the actor ensures that he tries something new each time around and that he offers a unique every single time audiences step out to watch a film of his. In this very pursuit, he has chosen to work with fresh and uncompromising talent including multiple debutant filmmakers - one such is Shouryuv, who has directed Nani's upcoming release 'Hi Nanna'.

But is there a filmmaker from Telugu Cinema that he wishes to work with in the near future? Well, one assumes he will be spoilt for choice considering the range of talent that the industry currently boasts but when asked, Nani gleefully named his pick. So, when a fan asked him which director he would want to collaborate with, the actor responded by naming 'Balagam' director Venu Yeldandi as his choice.

The query was posed to Nani as part of the very recently concluded '#AskNani' session on X (formerly Twitter). Among the many fun questions that came his way was the one concerning the Telugu filmmaker whom he wishes to work with, and the actor sprung a pleasant surprise on everyone with his answer.

'Balagam', of course, emerged as a runaway success at the box office earlier this year with well-known comic actor Venu Yeldandi marking his debut as a director. With the central cast including Priyadarshi, Kavya Kalyanram, Sudhakar Reddy, Kota Jayaram, and others, the film impressed everyone with its authenticity and compelling narrative - 'Balagam' also benefitted from the main cast's performances. Made at a rather modest budget of Rs. 3 crores, 'Balagam' grossed close to Rs. 27 crores during its theatrical run.

As far as 'Hi Nanna' is concerned, the romance drama is out on December 7th in theatres. The film promises to be a breezy, emotional ride with a father-daughter relationship at the centre - Mrunal Thakur, Baby Kiara Khanna, Jayaram and Angad Bedi, too, are part of the cast.
