Best known for his works like The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, Anthony Hopkins had a rather interesting meeting with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The actor went ahead and even posted a photo of him with Bhaijaan on social media. The two artists met in Riyadh and were clearly very happy with the meeting. Is there more to the photo? Salman and Anthony bumped into each other at the Joy Awards in Riyadh. They clearly couldn’t be happier to be in each other’s company. At the awards, Anthony was seen in a black attire with white shirt. His outfit completed his black-and-pepper look. Salman, on the other hand, chose grey for the occasion. The two, to an extent, even matched in terms of facial hair.

The big news is that Anthony posted the photo on Instagram, as a story. This came as a very pleasant surprise to all Salman Khan fans, who could not be prouder of the impact the Indian actor-filmmaker would have left on the Hollywood actor-filmmaker. Sharing the photo of them posing, Anthony wrote, “It was an honour meeting you.” He also tagged Salman on the post and shared where they met – at the Joy Awards.

Does this mean a collaboration?

There is still no confirmation on whether Salman and Anthony will work in a project together. Knowing Salman, even if Anthony approached him, the actor might most probably decline the project. Salman hopes to work in Indian movies for a long time to come. On the other hand, we might just get to see Anthony in a Bollywood film soon, if that was discussed and he agreed on it.

Anthony’s last project in 2023 was Rebel Moon: Part One – A Child of Fire and the second part, The Scargiver, will release in 2024. Salman, on the other hand, was seen in Tiger 3, which is among his most popular franchise films and a part of the YRF Spy Universe.
