Filmmaker Ramenahalli Jagannatha has been awaiting the release of his debut outing Hondisi Bareyiri for quite some time. The film, which stars a slew of up-and-coming actors, was meant to release back in November of 2022 but the team chose to postpone the release and bring the film out in theatres on February 10. And ahead of the much-awaited release, the team of Hondisi Bareyiri has released the film's first trailer.

Ramenahalli Jagannatha has shared in several of his previous interviews that he has derived the essence of his film from his own personal experiences as an engineering student and how college life shaped his personality. Hondisi Bareyiri is about a select few young college students who encounter life's many vibrant challenges as they forge new friendships, get their hearts broken and go through a plethora of emotions in the pursuit of finding themselves. 

The first trailer of Hondisi Bareyiri gives us a peek into the refreshing world of the film and introduces us to all the characters, their respective personalities and also the storyline which spans close to 12 years.

'Baduku Bandanthe Sweekarisu', or 'Accept life as it comes, is the film's tagline and the ethos is about living life to the fullest and about moving on with gusto despite all the external pressures and hangups. Ramenahalli Jagannatha is said to have been influenced by films like Gaalipata 2 and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. 

The cast of Hondisi Bareyiri includes Naveen Shankar, Archana Jois, Shri Mahadev, Praveen Tej, Aishani Shetty, Archana Kottige, Samyukta Hornad, Bhavana Rao and several others. Another highlight of the film is Joe Costa's soundtrack which includes 8 different songs highlighting the myriad emotions of the film.

The film has been produced by Ramenahalli Jagannatha & Friends with Shanthi Sagar H.G. serving as the cinematographer. Akshay P Rao has edited the film.
