Hrithik Roshan-Deepika Padukone’s Fighter has a new release date – watch power-packed announcement video

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s upcoming movie Fighter’s release has been postponed. The makers announced the new release date for the film through an announcement video. Without actually revealing either Hrithik or Deepika’s looks from the film, director Siddharth Anand managed to convey the message in a rather power-packed manner.

Hrithik shared the video on his Instagram account. The actor also confirmed the release date.

Fighter is now slated to release on September 28 in 2023. The movie has been postponed from its initial January 25, 2023 release.

The new release date for this movie does not come as a surprise and was rather expected considering both Siddharth Anand and Deepika Padukone’s movie Pathaan was also slated to release on January 25, 2023. Thus, it only makes sense not to release two of their films on the same given day.

Pathaan will also mark Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback to Bollywood. He will be releasing a movie after half a decade (5 years). His last film, Zero, released in 2018.

Not just the female lead of both films Deepika and the helmer of the movies Siddharth but even the second lead actor John Abraham is likely to announce a new release date for his upcoming movie Tehran. John had previously announced that his first collaboration film with Dinesh Vijan will also be releasing on January 25, 2023.

However, it now appears that John would not want to release two of his films on the same day either. The actor, however, is yet to announce a new release date for Tehran.

Meanwhile, Fighter marks Hrithik and Deepika’s first collaboration. The movie will also feature Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role. It will be releasing around the time of Ganesh Chaturthi (nine days after the celebrations begin).
