The latest dance number Alcoholia from the upcoming film Vikram Vedha, starring Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan, is making fans go crazy over the dance moves of the former. But the dancing superstar says that it was one of the toughest choreographies he attempted to do by Ganesh Hegde.

Basking in all the appreciation from his viewers, Hrithik said, "It was very hard, man! The song has a lot of steps that got me very tired while filming. We had to take a break because I was not getting it! Ganesh Hegde, being a perfectionist here, would not leave me alone."

The superstar went on, sharing that in a few sequences when he thought that it was done, sitting behind the monitor, Ganesh would not leave it until he got his perfect movements for the dance. Therefore, Hrithik had to do multiple takes and it drained his energy, though none of them were visible on-screen, only the high-energy ones.

The song is composed by Vishal–Shekhar and the lyrics are written by Manoj Muntashir. Alcoholia is sung by Vishal–Shekhar, Snigdhajit Bhowmik, and Ananya Chakraborty.

The actor also mentioned that, personally, he loved the song, and, according to him, the singer-composer duo of Vishal-Sheykhar had done an incredible job.

"They have seen it and they really liked it. For me, when a music director likes something that you have expressed on screen, then you feel assured that you have done something good," said the actor.

Choreographer Ganesh Hegde said, "Behind every song there is a reason, and when Hrithik called me saying, 'I have a song for you', I met the directors and realised that they were hell-bent on creating a magical song."

The choreographer said that since he has been working with Hrithik for a long time, he knows the true potential of the actor, who is also a great dancer.

Watching the response from the audience post the release of the song, Ganesh said that he, along with the team, had created magic on-screen.

"This time we have created magic on screen again with him. Thank you, Gayatri ji and Pushkar ji, for giving me a free hand and our producers for giving me such a big song. Thank you, Vishal-Shekhyar and the cast and crew. I think we did a good job," he said.

The film, Vikram Vedha, is directed by Pushkar and Gayatri.

Recalling how he shared the idea of the song with the music director duo Vishal and Sheykar, Pushkar said, "First I want to thank Vishal and Sheykar. When we spoke to them for the first time, they immediately got it. 'We know what it is exactly you want, you will get it,' was their response. Manoj Muntashir wrote the lyrics for it, and we love a good drinking song in each one of our films. I think this one has shaped out really well."

He also mentioned how Ganesh, along with his team, put together the dance and rehearsed for three months before finalising everything for shooting.

Gayatri added, "This is our first song in Hindi and it's a dream. We have the best dancer in the whole country, Hrithik Roshan, dancing in our song. What can we ask for?"

The film Vikram Vedha, produced by Bhushan Kumar, S. Sashikanth, and Reliance Entertainment, also starring Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, and Rohit Saraf, releases in theatres on September 30.
