Hungama Ho Gaya: Shilpa Shetty, Meezaan recreate the retro track for Hungama 2

The makers of Hungama 2 recently released its peppy title track, Hungama Ho Gaya, that features Shilpa Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jaffrey and Pranitha Subhash grooving to the beats.  

Mika Singh and Anmol Malik have lent their voice to the fun Anu Malik composition, which has lyrics by Sameer. The groovy track also has retro visuals with Paresh and Meezaan in colourful jackets, and Shilpa and Pranitha sporting stylish vintage gowns. The song somehow reminds us of Hauli Hauli from De De Pyaar De, where Ajay Devgn was seen dancing between Tabu and Rakul Preet Singh.

Meezaan can be seen doing the same with the two leading actresses in Hungama 2 title track, while Paresh can be seen shaking his body in a few parts of the song.

Meezaan shared the new track on his Twitter handle and wrote: “90's ho ya GenZ ho pyaar kiya hai toh hungamaaaa toh hoga hi! #HungamaHoGaya out now! #Hungama2.”

Earlier, talking about the song in an interview with Planet Bollywood, Shilpa excitedly mentioned that she had so much fun recreating the retro era with the whole cast. “The song perfectly encapsulates the overall theme of the film,” the Baazigar actress added.

Adding to the same, Meezaan said in a statement that the process of making the song was very enjoyable. The actor also said he believes that it will resonate with the audience well.

The Priyadarshan directorial also features Johnny Lever, Ashutosh Rana and Rajpal Yadav. Hungama 2 will exclusively premiere on July 23 on Disney+ Hotstar.
