Hyderabad schedule of Thalapathy 66 to begin tomorrow

The buzz in the industry is that the Thalapathy 66 team is heading to Hyderabad for their next schedule. The shoot for the film is underway and we hear that team is beginning its next set of portions tomorrow. This schedule is considered a major one and hence, most of the cast and crew are expected to be present. The film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, has Thalapathy Vijay in the lead with Rashmika Mandanna playing the leading lady. This is the first that the duo is coming together for a film and marks Rashmika's second film in Tamil after her debut opposite Karthi in Sulthan.

The star cast also has Sarathkumar, Prakash Raj and Shaam and the latter had recently confirmed his part in the film through a social media post. Interestingly, this is Vamshi Paidipally's second film in Tamil after Thozha that had Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamanaah in the lead. Thalapathy 66 is said to be a complete commercial potboiler. Thaman is scoring music for a Vijay film for the first time and the composer has already begin work on the same. Cinematography is by Kharthik Palani and editing is by Praveen KL. Dialogues are penned by Vivek. The puja ceremony was held earlier this year. Prakash Raj is collaborating with Vijay after a long hiatus after their previous ventures Ghilli, Sivakasi, Pokkiri and Villu.

In the meantime, Vijay is basking in the success of his latest release Beast, which hit screens on April 13. The film was directed by Nelson Dilipkumar had Pooja Hedge playing the leading lady. Vijay played a RAW agent in it. The action comedy had an ensemble cast including Selvaraghavan, Shine Tom Chacko,Yogi Babu,Redin Kingsley,VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, Sathish Krishnan, Shaji Chen to name a few. Music was by Anirudh, cinematography by Manoj Paramahansa and editing by R Nirmal.
