Jeremy Renner had a scary start this year. While trying to stop his snow-removal tractor from sliding and hitting his grown nephew, he was pulled under the vehicle and crushed on New Year’s Day. The snowcat vehicle began to slide sideways due to the disengaged parking brake. This mechanical failure allowed the tracked vehicle to move freely, despite its intended function to remain stationary.

Renner was airlifted to a hospital due to blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries. The incident caused Renner to break over 30 bones, which required major rehabilitation. After the complicated surgery, Jeremy kept updating about his recovery time-to-time on social media.

After coming back home, the 52-year-old actor is still in rehabilitation and therapies. It's been 10 months, he has always kept informing his improvement as well as his mental trauma. On Monday, he again posted a picture and wrote a soul-stirring note on Instagram. Jeremy doesn't want to squander his life being spared.

He shared that his greatest therapy has been his mind all these months, “I feel it’s my duty to do so. Not to squander my life being spared, but to give back to my family, friends, and all of you whom have empowered me to endure. I thank you all.”

The Avengers actor also shared that she has tried every type of therapy since January, “Everyday, countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, iv drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on.”

Back in April, Renner made his first public appearance after the accident to attend the premiere of his TV reality show, Rennervations. It shows Jeremy teams up with expert builders to acquire large, decommissioned government vehicles and re-imagine them as mind-blowing creations that serve kids in communities worldwide.
