When Sonali Bendre was offered the rejects of Pooja Bhatt!
Sonali Bendre was in an interview with Humans of Bombay, wherein she walked past the memory lane and revealed something that almost nobody ever knew about it. While talking about her debut in showbiz, Sonali told the interviewer about an incident which had her wearing the rejects of Pooja Bhatt!
Speaking about it, Sonali said that her first film which had signed was Naraaz with Bhatt saab (Mahesh Bhatt), wherein there was Pooja Bhatt as well. She then went on to reveal that the clothes which were being made were basically for the second heroine. And those were the rejects of Pooja Bhatt that were coming to her, which, she said, was fine with it. It was at that point of time, when she adopted ‘ignorance is bliss’ attitude.
Sonali also spoke about the advantages of the aforementioned incident. She said that the advantage was that only a skinny body could wear those dresses and she could pull it off (easily), which started looking fabulous! She also added that somebody's rejects worked for her!
