Ever since Kantara was promoted to the 'pan-India' rank, Rishab Shetty has been a busy man discussing his film with various sections of the media. The actor-director has also been a constant feature of the year-ender roundtable conversations wherein he shared the limelight with some of the biggest actors in the country.

In one such gathering organized by Film Companion, Rishab Shetty was surrounded by superstars like Dulquer Salman, Varun Dhawan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkumar Rao, and many others: aside from Kantara being hailed as the year's defining film, Rishab also found himself being a sought-after filmmaker during the conversation with the likes of Janhvi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Vidya Balan wishing to work with him in the future.

Yes, Jahnvi Kapoor would announce quite early on that she is willing to audition for a chance to star in a Rishab Shetty film and National Award winner Vidya Balan would state that she has as many as six months to offer if Rishab wished to rehearse ahead of the shoot! I am a big fan of you, ma'am," said Rishab to Vidya Balan as he was caught off-guard by all the compliments.

And Anil Kapoor, who is no stranger to Kannada cinema, declared that Rishab's next film will be with him - "next film mere saath bana," said the veteran actor. Anil Kapoor is still fondly remembered for playing the lead in the 1983 film Pallavi Anupallavi, which happens to be Mani Ratnam's debut directorial.

Bhediya star Varun Dhawan, along with An Action Hero actor Ayushmann Khurrana, too seemed in complete awe of what Rishab Shetty pulled off as a performer in Kantara and the now-iconic scream from the concluding moments of the film would then be discussed in great detail, with Rishab shedding light on how he captured the intensity to pull it off.

Dressed in his signature white dhoti and a black shirt, he would display candour and a very self-assured demeanour which not only pleased his fellow panellists but also the netizens who showered praise on him in the comments section.
