Iman Chakraborty slams local authorities for garbage menace in her area

Iman Chakraborty is known as an outspoken woman who minces no words when needed. She was born and brought up in Liluah. Though she now lives in Kolkata, she could not keep mum seeing the sorry state of Liluah. Iman is always outspoken and does not spare the trollers on social media. Now, she criticised the Bally municipality and the local MLA.

On Sunday, Iman took to her social media and said that there was an auto stand in front of her house which became a garbage area. She added that the residents complained many times to no avail. Iman wrote, “Those who took responsibility but did not serve should feel ashamed. Shame!”

Iman further said, “This is Bally Municipality’s shame. Those who take the road please share this.” Iman shared photos and videos that were shocking. The area is full of garbage and the rotten stink makes it impossible to stay there. During the Dengue scare in West Bengal, such a picture is worrisome, opined the netizens. 

Iman lives with Nilanjan in Kolkata, but her father lives in Liluah. Iman said that she told the Bally MLA Rana Chattopadhyay about the issue more than once, but nothing happened. But Rana says that Iman is not a resident of his area, she lives in Domjur. Rana told the media, “Still, I know her. If any problem happens, she can send me the photo and the GPS location. I will try to resolve this.” 

Iman also contacted Madan Mitra regarding the issue. However, she was trolled in the post. Some people taunted her “And then you will go again to sing at the call of these MLA-s.” Iman retorted, “Why do you drag music in each issue?”
