The 76th Independence Day is being celebrated across the nation with great gusto. Thanks to the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative that the bustling pride and emotions among the general public are almost palpable at the moment, and joining in on the celebrations are the Kannada Film Industry veterans who have released a special video to mark the Independence Day spirit.

Senior actors Shiva Rajkumar, Kiccha Sudeep, V. Ravichandran, and others recently came together for a special video that sees them put their patriotic pride on display. The video was released earlier today, on August 15, via social media: also featuring veteran actors Ramesh Aravind, Jaggesh, Arjun Sarja, and Anant Nag, with the charming voice of Vijay Prakash (and a band of chorus singers) rendering a unique version of Vande Mataram.

From the younger lot of Sandalwood, Rishab Shetty, Daali Dhananjaya, Sriimurali, Golden Star Ganesh, Dhruva Sarja, and others too can be spotted in this lovely tribute video.

The same tribute also includes multiple well-known dignitaries and achievers from Karnataka such as environmentalist Saalumarada Thimmakka, transgender folk artist Matha Manjamma Jogati, and ex-Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad.

Acknowledging the same gesture, chief minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai took to social media to share the video and also wish everyone a very happy Independence Day. “A special tribute to Mother India from our own achievers,” wrote CM Bommai in the tweet.

Recently, CM Basavaraj Bommai had participated in a special Youth Fest in the city of Mysuru that saw K.G.F: Chapter 2 star Yash in attendance. The actor, immersed in the Independence Day spirit, spoke to the massive crowd about upholding the national spirit. Yash, Radhika Pandit, and their two little kids were seen waving the Indian national flag with great pride and joy as they shared a few glimpses of their Independence Day celebrations via social media.

“The unparalleled pride of watching our Tiranga - the embodiment of courage, truth, and progress - Soar High. Here's wishing all my fellow Indians a Happy 76th Independence Day,” wrote Yash in his post.
