The India versus South Africa match at Eden Gardens witnessed a number of interesting events. Besides Virat Kohli’s breathtaking century and touching Sachin Tendulkar's milestone, there were other moments. On Sunday, the cricketing paradise also saw the presence of Nusrat Jahan with her partner, Yash Dasgupta. Besides Yash, Nusrat’s former partner Nikhil Jainm was also present at the stadium. He was there with his rumored girlfriend Sauraseni Maitra.

Sauraseni, a popular model and a powerful actress, is the face of Nikhil's clothing brand, Rangoli. The actress has been working in films and the web, not only in Tollywood but also on national projects. Besides her works, her connection with Nikhil often comes to the headlines. Recently, when questioned about her alleged relationship with Nikhil, Sauraseni said, “Poor Nikhil! People will think whatever they may, irrespective of what I say. If I say that I am not dating Nikhil, they will think I am lying. If I say yes, that also will create controversies. Hence I do not want to say anything at all.”

On the other hand, Nusrat and Nikhil had a destination wedding in Turkey in June 2019. But they split within a year. Nusrat's pregnancy and her relationship with Yash created many controversies. Then Nusrat said that her marriage with Nikhil was illegal and their relationship could be named as a live-in. Some people questioned her regarding her marriage photos and her introducing herself as Nusrat Jahan Ruhi Jain in the Parliament.

Their marriage was not registered under the Special Marriage Act. Nikhil said that he requested several times but Nusrat did not show any urge to do that. Then, in November 2021, the Alipore Court gave the verdict that the marriage was illegal.
