It looks like Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has recovered from COVID-19. The Iravin Nizhal actress, who dropped a video from her car to announce the same, captioned it, "Woohoooo... never been so happy to be #Negative finally..." She said, "As you can see, I am out finally. I tested negative. Thank you so much for all the support and love, wishes and the concern. I didn't expect it. Thank you so much. Nevertheless, please be safe and mask up. Corona is still very much all around. Some of us can handle it, some of us won't be able to. It becomes a lot of stress and trauma for everyone. Quarantining by yourself isn't so much fun. I was going a little bit cuckoo. Thank you for all the messages and love. They really got me through the Covid time. I am off to Chennai to promote my film, Poikkal Kuthirai."
Varalaxmi had announced that she had tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago. She had dropped a video, in which she had stated that she had contracted the virus, despite taking all the precautions. The actress had advised everyone to mask up and continue to follow COVID-19 safety protocol. She wrote on her social media page,"Covid Positive..inspite of all precautions..actors plz start insisting on masking up the entire crew bcos we as actors cant wear masks.. Those who have met me or been in contact with me plz watch out for symptoms and get checked.. Plz be careful and mask up..covid is still here, (sic)" she wrote on her social media pages.
On the film front, the actress's latest outing was Iravin Nizhal, which is said to be the world's first non-linear single shot film. The film stars R Parthiban, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Robo Shankar, Priyanka Ruth and Brigida Saga in pivotal roles. Varalaxmi plays Premakumari, a godwoman who, is a confidante of Premananda, a fake godman, played by Robo Shankar. She is now awaiting the release of Poikkal Kuthirai starring Prabhu Deva, Prakash Raj and many others.
